We are a small team of VR enthusiasts who are passionate about all aspects of virtual reality, and we’re really excited to share this website with you.
We believe that Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality are powerful tools that will help all of us interact with digital devices and each other better than ever before. Things are moving fast in the world of VR, with better headsets and software being released all the time.
VR Lowdown was founded by Andrew Courtney. I’ve been a VR enthusiast for many years and I have a passion for VR technology and the experiences that it enables. I am supported by a small team of enthusiasts to help produce the written and video content on vrlowdown.com, on the VR Lowdown YouTube channel, and on our social media profiles.
I’m passionate about the technology behind VR and the progress that is being made to make VR better and more accessible. I particularly enjoy VR flight simulators and VR sports games, but I’m fascinated to try every VR experience I can get my hands on.
I have a growing collection of VR headsets including Meta Quest 3, Meta Quest 2, Pico 4, HP Reverb G2, Pimax Crystal, and the Valve Index. I’ve had the pleasure of testing almost every VR headset that’s been launched over the last few years.
VR Lowdown started with this website but has now launched a YouTube channel and Twitter account. I love talking and writing about all aspects of VR, covering topics in depth.
