I\u2019ve found that it has fantastic mobility for a game that is seated only, and it does not detract from the experience in any way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The story of this game is truly epic and looks like something sprung out of a James Bond movie. The villain’s plan is extremely smart, and the puzzles make sense and fit perfectly into place. Don\u2019t get me wrong, it is definitely hard, and you have to really use your brain to pull through individual levels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The satisfaction you feel after completing it is unmatched and you can even discover alternate ways of completing each individual level and it really helps you with the speed run of each level too. I felt like this game even provided character development and he matures, beginning to trust you more as the game progresses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n I have spent ample time on this game trying to figure it out and hours upon hours attempting speed runs, collecting souvenirs, and just generally enjoying the game from its soundtrack to the fantastic voice acting. I could not recommend it more. I Expect You to Die 2<\/a><\/strong> is available to purchase off the Steam or Oculus store for the Oculus Quest, Quest 2, and most PC VR headsets, including the Valve Index, Rift, Vive, WMR, and Pimax headsets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Playing as the Maskmaker\u2019s apprentice, delve into this incredible experience and learn the magic of crafting masks and meet enigmatic beings that reside in the game. Explore your way through the \u2018mask realm\u2019 and solve puzzles to discover the true identity of the mysterious Prospero.<\/p>\n\n\n\n You\u2019ll spend a lot of time in Prospero\u2019s workshop, chiseling, painting, and then wearing beautifully intricate masks. When exploring the dream-like realm you\u2019ll find different figures with unique masks. Making the same mask allows you to take control of that character to move and progress through the game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n When you don\u2019t have the materials required to make a new mask, you embark on an exciting expedition to explore three different worlds. This can be a more tedious aspect of the game to search the same environments again and again. I have found that a lot of the gameplay becomes simple, mindless foraging which I find quite relaxing but isn\u2019t ideal if you want to progress through the story.<\/p>\n\n\n\n As a downside, some of the movements can be a little annoying, with walking speeds too slow and running speeds too fast, not to mention turning taking forever even on the highest setting. Its static nature is also perfect for newcomers to VR, as I have found that it causes very little motion sickness. Playing in VR is a complete game changer as being able to hold the slingshot in your hands and pull back to release the bird really makes you a part of the experience as opposed to just playing a game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n It\u2019s really fun translating the original gameplay of adjusting angles and strategic shooting to knock over pigs with the truly fantastic 360-degree angles that VR adds. The excellent graphics and smooth gameplay add to the immensely satisfying feeling of watching towers crumble when you\u2019ve mastered the best technique. The levels definitely push you to try different angles and the challenge of getting three stars turns this game quickly into an addictive quest to topple towers to perfection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Room VR drops you into the middle of an investigation into the disappearance of an esteemed Egyptologist. By exploring cryptic locations, examining fantastic gadgets, and entering an otherworldly space, push your puzzling skills to the test as you look for clues to solve the mystery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Designed from the ground up for the unique capabilities of VR, you can inhabit the spine-tingling world of The Room and interact with its strange contraptions. This VR puzzle game is a genuine must-buy with a fantastic mix of puzzle and escape room gameplay, alongside incredible visuals that provide a level of close interaction that you won\u2019t be able to find anywhere else.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Room VR combines gentle exploration and lateral thinking with the correct amount of getting hands-on with puzzle boxes. I have found that the designers really utilized VR very well as I had to use both my hands to wriggle and manipulate certain puzzle elements in order to get them to work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n For me, the game is challenging enough to keep it interesting and the option of using hints helped keep me engaged throughout the game. I did use some of them as a last resort but liked that they were available, rather than going in circles without progressing. The Room VR is one of the best VR puzzle games you can play today. If you played Myst in the 90s, I would strongly recommend coming back to this fully 3D and VR-incorporated version with its wonderfully nostalgic feel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n If you are a patient problem solver who doesn\u2019t need a lot of \u2018prompting\u2019 then this is the perfect puzzle game for you. I find it incredibly rewarding to work through the gameplay and the note-taking abilities are particularly fantastic in developing your thoughts. Note-taking was an update that was greatly wanted and has significantly improved the immersion of the game and ease in recording clues and evidence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n I have often thought of this game to be sort of like an escape room, with everything having a meaning that you can use to move on to the next challenge. Myst is an enjoyable challenge and has excellent graphics for the Quest 2 which creates a truly unique experience with every corner of the game filled with detail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n If you are looking for an experience that will immerse you into a complex world where everything ties together for several hours, Myst<\/a><\/strong> is a really good choice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Kartoffl is a fun puzzle adventure that requires you to use all your puzzling skills to guide a group of adorable spuds with minds of their own through the 60 different, challenging levels. The immersive gameplay, intuitive interactions, and playful visuals make this a truly enjoyable game to come back to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Kartoffl is executed to perfection with a delivery that sets it apart from other games. Near flawless polish, fantastic attention to detail artistically, and consistency that fellow VR players will agree can be a tricky thing to find, makes it an extremely enjoyable game and definitely worth buying.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Ideal for perfection-striving puzzlers, each level has multiple solutions that allow you to return again and again to challenge yourself to collect all three stars. The challenges posed by the levels are very engaging due to the unique combination of VR navigation and interaction. You\u2019ll need to juggle and multitask which keeps you constantly on your toes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n A round requires you to pre-plan, predict and quickly adapt to changing situations, and even sometimes inventing your own solutions on the fly. Floor Plan 2 always has something to keep you thinking and is completely engaging, right down to the cool cartoony graphics that make this game stand out with an art style that is something a bit different and fresh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The concept of the game is very well thought through, with an elevator in the building that takes you everywhere in the building but with the twist that every floor is a gateway to a different world. You must solve a series of mind-bending puzzles to travel onwards through connected escape rooms to continue on your mission to retrieve a lost treasure that will turn the company\u2019s fortunes around.<\/p>\n\n\n\n One of the coolest aspects of this game is the ability to revisit completed puzzles to find new, remixed challenges waiting for you that will provide hours more fun and a real task for the mind. The graphics are beyond incredible, definitely some of the best on Quest 2, and will have you forgetting what room you are playing in. Exploring this fully interactive world is amazing and it is specifically designed to enhance the feeling of immersion in virtual reality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n This game is perfect for a blend of puzzling, adventure, and combat, with a storyline that will have you sucked into this strange world, and your brain will constantly be working to map out your next steps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n One of the best things about Red Matter 2 is that it is perfect for all experience levels. It manages to get the difficulty level just right, and I have found that figuring out the mech mechanics is challenging but not so difficult that it leaves you feeling frustrated. The sense of satisfaction at the end alone is worth it in this game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n One of the best aspects of this game is that there is an in-game adjustable floor for players of all heights. I\u2019ve found this particularly beneficial in increasing the comfort when I am playing, and it allows all the graphics to feel perfectly in proportion to you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n A Rogue Escape can only be played on room-scale mode so it\u2019s important to ensure you have a large enough area and have taken the necessary safety precautions in line with your particular headset.<\/p>\n\n\n\n I thoroughly enjoy the format of this game with the concept of needing to figure out how to use the controls that operate this big machine and what you should do when it is up and running. The true magic is that you eventually figure out what all the different controls do, and the developers have done an amazing job creating challenges and graphics that get you truly immersed in the puzzling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n However, A Rogue Escape is pretty short and not a game that you\u2019ll spend hours and hours on. I would recommend it for its fantastic graphics and the satisfaction of figuring out how everything works but not if you are looking for something with good replayability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n This heart-warming tales allow you to solve the mystery of the stolen pets by solving puzzles in wonderful miniature worlds crafted from the ground up for VR. The Curious Tale of the Stolen Pets is perfect for all ages due to its cartoony art style, fun gameplay, and a sense of challenge at times with the different puzzles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Curious Tale of the Stolen Pets is accessible for everyone with sitting, standing, and room-scale modes that provide different ways to experience it. I have found that there are no issues with dizziness or motion sickness with the smooth controls making it an easier place to start if you are not used to the motion of VR.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The puzzles struck the perfect balance of leaving me confused for a little while, but not so much to the point that I wanted to leave the game. The Curious Tale of the Stolen Pets is one of the most relaxing VR puzzle games and the beautiful scenes plus fantastic graphics make it very easy to lose yourself for a few hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The only potential issue with The Curious Tale of the Stolen Pets is that there are only a handful of puzzles so you can expect around 2-4 hours depending on your puzzling skills. It is well worth checking out for an afternoon of fun but not if you are looking for a game that you can keep coming back to. The Curious Tale Of The Stolen Pets is available on PSVR, Steam, and the Oculus store, and supports most popular VR headsets including Quest 2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Moss Book 1 and 2 easily rank as some of the best VR puzzle games I have played. It is not that they are particularly challenging, the most action-packed, or the biggest, because they are not. But they are some of the most thoughtfully designed and crafted games I have ever seen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The extraordinary level of craft that has been put into the Moss games elevates them to what feels more like an experience, a journey, and a real adventure than just a solid game. The puzzles are super fun to solve with just the right amount of complexity and reward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Moss: Book 2<\/a><\/strong> is a direct continuation of the previous game and includes everything I loved about Book 1 whilst adding clever new mechanics, puzzle designs, characters, and environments. Many people will tell you how connected they get to the little mouse Quill and all her friends and nothing pulls on your heartstrings more than this journey to help save their world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n It took me around 8-9 hours to complete, but I immensely enjoyed every moment and took my time exploring every corner of this amazing, expanded world. There\u2019s plenty to keep you entertained, no matter how quickly you progress through it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Talos Principle<\/a><\/strong> is a virtual reality version of Croteam\u2019s critically acclaimed first-person puzzle game in the tradition of philosophical science fiction. Throwing you into a strange, contradictory world of ancient ruins and advanced technology, the unique and thought-provoking storyline provides a fantastic backdrop to a steady increase in the complexity of puzzles as you learn new techniques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n If you enjoy figuring out how to get from one point to another with obstacles and puzzles to solve then this is a game that you will never be able to stop playing. With over 20 hours worth of content and gameplay, this is possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Talos Principle is accessible for all and can be played with sitting, standing, and room-scale options which I\u2019ve found very helpful, as it can suit different ways of experiencing a VR puzzle game when in different moods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Talos Principle uses true locomotion support, allowing you to teleport, instant teleport, blink teleport, and classic full locomotion to move around. I would strongly recommend only trying out this game if you are comfortable teleporting as I have found that the free movement in this game can be quite annoying and clunky which can disrupt the good gameplay experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Built for VR, Shadow Point<\/a><\/strong> is a story-driven VR puzzle game set between a mountaintop observatory and an ever-changing fantasy world. As the adventure progresses, you will manipulate gravity, play with your own reflection, walk on walls, peer through a magical lens to reveal an alternate universe, and much more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n With over 80 mind-bending puzzles and full freedom of movement and hand tracking, Shadow Point is extremely fun to play and the powerful and compelling story will have you invested in this puzzling experience in no time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The puzzles are truly fantastic, with some difficult enough that I had to sleep on them but I was able to crack them in the end, and Shadow Point certainly provides immense satisfaction when you do figure out the puzzles. Some of the levels had my hands sweating with concentration and fear of falling into darkness. There is plenty of invention in the game from evil floating fish to walls of lasers that kill you, plus puzzles all around.<\/p>\n\n\n\n One of the best aspects of this game is that you can play both as a single-player or with friends in multiplayer. If you want an exploration and puzzling VR experience with someone else in tow, Carly and the Reaperman is one of the best choices out there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The puzzle complexity advances pretty organically and it is perfect for those who like to figure things out for themselves with not too much step-by-step guidance that could ruin the challenge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The option of playing in room scale for Carly and the Reaperman is one thing I have found truly makes the experience.
