VRchat groups prioritize audio quality, and for arcade business start-ups, durability, reliability, and compatibility with children&#8217;s heads are crucial considerations. The upgraded vapor chamber ensures efficient cooling, enabling the headset to run Half-Life: Alyx for an extended 2 hours, with a 20\u00b0C reduction in core temperature.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Fan Module Upgrade:<\/strong> A new fan module, coupled with refined fan control logic, increases fan speed while minimizing operating sound for a quieter experience.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Audio Upgrade:<\/strong> The latest built-in stereo speakers with improved low-frequency performance, optimized distortion, and comes with wired earphones. Additionally, dedicated headphones exclusively designed for the E4 will be available for purchase in the coming months.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>New Cable Solution:<\/strong> Features a strengthened 6-meter DP cable with reinforced strain relief and a detachable end. The earphone jack has been redesigned, and the tangling box is removed, enhancing cable durability and user convenience.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Comfort and Exterior Enhancements:<\/strong> With a head circumference compatibility of 53-66cm, the E4 is now suitable for more kids. The new velcro head strap ensures a secure fit. The headset comes with a premium magnetic cloth texture face liner, and the exterior features UV painting for a long-lasting, fresh look.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Derek Liu, VP of DPVR commented &#8220;Designing with the community&#8217;s needs and feedback in mind has always been our priority. While other mega VR headset manufacturers shift focus to standalone devices and Microsoft discontinues the WMR platform, DPVR remains committed as the Noah&#8217;s ark for PC VR fans. With 13 updates to the DPVR software assistant in 2023 and this significant hardware update for the E4, along with the anticipation of our new-gen headset in 2024, we have the utmost confidence in serving flight and sim racing enthusiasts.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Whilst I haven&#8217;t had the opportunity to use the original DPVR E4 headset, I will shortly be testing the new DPVR E4 Black Edition and putting it through its paces.
